Dr. Chiann Fan Gibson graduated from Tufts School of Dental Medicine (Boston, MA) as a Merit Scholarship recipient. Dr. Gibson is an Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AAACD), a Fellow of The International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics (IADFE) and an Adjunct Instructor of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (Department of Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry).  From 2008 – 2014 Dr. Gibson served on the AACD Board of Directors, becoming its Vice President in 2014 and AACD President in 2016-2017. Dr. Gibson was also the President of The Chicago Midwest Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (MWACD). Dr Gibson is an Associate Member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) and a faculty member of Align Technology.Dr Gibson is also a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).   Dr. Gibson is an author, chosen to create / write a feature dental column for the Chicago suburban Sun Times Newspaper (The Naperville Sun).  Dr Gibson is also involved in research with the Practice Based Network associated with Tufts Dental School. She represents the Midwest research team. Dr Gibson was recently awarded Best in Science at The Global Beauty Awards. Dr. Gibson currently practices general dentistry as the owner of Smiles by Dr. Gibson & Associates of Promenade Dental, Naperville Illinois. She is married to Emmy Award TV host / entertainer Jim Gibson and together have a son, James III.
